Our client, a multinational and diverse restaurant, is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high service standards, support FOH and BOH staff and monitor stock levels. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work closely with the restaurant management
team to implement new menus, promotions, and special events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high service standards.
• Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring smooth coordination between teams.
• Manage reservations, seating, and guest experiences using reservation systems.
• Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor and maintain food quality, service standards, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Assist with staff training, performance evaluations, and scheduling to optimise workflow.
• Ensure compliance with Food and Drugs Authority (FDA Ghana) regulations and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and management to implement new menus, promotions, and special events.
• Track inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
• Prepare reports on sales, staff performance, and customer feedback for management review.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of restaurant financials, including budgeting and cost control, is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in a reservation management system.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
